IGP Côtes Catalanes Red 2013
Grape varieties :
100 % Carignan “vieilles vignes” (Old vine stock). Vineyard planted in 1905 in rocky, schistose soil, on land facing north.
Hand picking. Cold maceration for one weeks. Then, traditional maceration for two weeks. Gentle pressing. Maturing in stainless steel vats on the lees for twelve months.
Appearance : Deep ruby-red colour.
Nose : Intense,spices, aroma of blackcurrent and ripe fruit.
Palate : Fruit is present, attack is fresh, full.
Serve between 15 and 17 °C.
