Grape varieties :
100 % Black Grenache. Vineyard planted in 1940 in rocky, schistose soil, facing north.
Vinification :
Hand picking. Cold maceration for one weeks. Then, after Addition of pure alcohol during the fermentation, a traditional maceration is opered for three weeks. Gentle pressing. Maturing 10 months in stainless steel vats.
Tasting :
Appearance : Deep ruby-red colour.
Nose : Intense, candied cherries.
Palate : Intense, candied cherries, blackberries, harmonious tanins and beautiful freshness.
Serve between 10 and 12 °C.
